While the kids are being supervised and well looked after by Mel and the staff at Jummps, the parents and supporters of Phoenix can sit back and relax in the sports bar at the Parkwood Village and use this time as a great opportunity getting to know each other and have a drink or feed at the same time.

Act for Kids has been selected as a charity partner for the 2021 Brisbane Broncos NRL Season. We have been allocated the home ground game on Sunday 4 July 2021 where the Brisbane Broncos will take on the Cronulla Sharks.

We are looking for approximately 100 Volunteers to help sell the 50-50 Raffle Tickets.

Responsibilities: All volunteers are tasked with selling 50-50 Charity Raffle tickets to patrons throughout the stadium, either individually or in selling teams. Full briefing will be provided.

When: Sunday 4 July 2021 , 11:30am-5:30pm

Where: Suncorp Stadium – a meeting point will be advised 2 weeks out from the game. There is no parking at Suncorp Stadium and limited parking in the surrounding streets. Public transport is highly recommended.

Dress Code: White t-shirt with pants (not skirt) below the knee, preferably a dark colour. Enclosed, flat, comfortable shoes. Raffle Tickets sellers will be given a 50-50 uniform which includes a cap, bum-bag, apron, iPad and printer.

Additional Info:

There will be free bottled water on hand. No food can be bought into the Stadium precinct.
Volunteers for the 50/50 raffle must be 18 years of age or over
The consumption of alcohol prior to or during the volunteer shift is prohibited

CLUB DUTY DAY


DATE:  Saturday August 7th


TIME:  07.00am - 2.00pm ( Times will be allocated to each team)


COST:  It's Free 


WHAT'S REQUIRED: Plenty of Volunteers


Duties for the day include:


On the day the Club is responsible for:

  • setting up the post pads
  • Putting out bins (plus emptying them throughout the day)
  • Cooking the BBQ
  • Assisting in the canteen
  • ​Assisting in the Scores Room
  • Helping at our raffle table


Then of course there is the packing up of all the equipment at the end of the day so remember many hands make light work.
