PHOENIX NETBALL CLUB PARTNERS WITH LOCAL CHARITY
A suggestion was made at our Committee meeting about approaching a local charity that deals with children and because we are a kids club we decided on Act for Kids. After having a meeting with the staff at the Act for Kids charity about letting the Phoenix Netball Club assist them by displaying their logo on our uniforms to help get the word out and make people aware of them. They could not have been more excited about the idea as no one or especially a sporting club has ever approached them to help in this way and they could not wait to get started with ideas and suggestions flying around from both parties.

SEASON RE-START
After a meeting with NGCNA it is hoping that Netball will resume on Saturday 28th August. We are hoping to play the last 2 rounds plus the games not played in Rd 13 and the finals will be reduced to two games and played on the same day with Semi's in the morning (1v4 & 2v3) losers out and winners play Grand Final in the afternoon.
CLUB GETS BOOST WITH NEW SPONSOR
It is very exciting to announce that Dominoes will continue their sponsorship of our club for the next 2 years by assisting with food and beverages at our functions throughout the year. So please call into the Runaway bay store to make your purchases and don't forget to mention you play for the Phoenix Netball Club.
FRESH LOOK FOR CLUB WITH NEW APPAREL
The club has revamped its clothing design and has now added some new items to its list for Parents, Supporters and Players to purchase which should be ready in the next few weeks. We had a very good order for the Hoodies which was very pleasing because they will help us stand out from the crowds and hopefully attract new players.
The new gear will have two new logo's being our major sponsor Dominoes and our new partner ACT for Kids which is a local charity that we as a club will help support through the year. Not forgetting our clubs great umpires who do a terrific job each week, but we have also purchased new shirts for them that will also display the Phoenix symbol and our sponsors, so the girls should look fantastic.
